Traveling in the US. Everyone is so nice.

I realize the best way to get away from international / US politics is; Go to America. You turn off the news on TV and just hang out and do your things. Nobody talks about it. You only talk to close friends about politics.

First I flew from Punta Cana in the DR to Charlotte in North Carolina. I almost had to wake up the immigration officer. I may have been the only foreigner on the flight. When going through immigration in Miami it can easily take 2–3 hours. In Charlotte it took 5 minutes.

Then I went to Englewood in Florida flying to Sarasota / Bradenton visiting new Danish-American friend Susanne. We had been talking about the issues of splitting time between two countries. The Danish rules in relation to that and about living in a property in Denmark while residing abroad.

Afterwards I flew to San Fransisco. A nice and relaxing stay with friends Mark and Marina enjoying great food and good conversation. I exercised at the Jewish Community Center Aquatic Center. The swimming helped for my recent travel nervousness and vertigo after flying across the country.

Then I went to Dallas and Austin in Texas. I find Dallas a little complicated but I managed and Ubered around. I did see the “The Sixth Floor Museum” about Kennedy and the location of that sad event. In Austin I went on several walking…
