Apparently, this label recognizes me for posting original content that has received strong audience engagement and meets quality standards. Now I understand they make this assessment on a week to week basis. I have started shorter weekly blogging on Facebook and Instagram, and occasionally, I post it on LinkedIn and Medium. I post it on my website, www.johnboyter.com, and link that to Twitter X and Threads. I try to make it entertaining content and diary-like. I have really been doing this since the pandemic, but I have paused it occasionally. Over time, I have been consistent. Now, I want to see if it can be at least once or twice a week going forward so Facebook keeps giving me the recognition. The main benefit being growing your audience.

“Top voice” on LinkedIn

On LinkedIn, I am trying to get recognized as a top voice, as they call it, under the one topic “Writing.” On the LinkedIn platform, it is harder for me to get this recognition, as it is more of a business topics platform. I didn’t really start writing before 2020–2021 during the pandemic. I get sent invitations to take part in reading and commenting on their AI-generated collaborative articles. LinkedIn’s AI seems to have identified my interests to be in personal branding, communication, social media, digital marketing, and writing. Of these topics, I feel I can contribute the most under the topic of writing as I learn to write more professionally. Writing about the learning process and personal development. Digital marketing is also a possibility. It quickly gets very technical, though. My angle would be as someone who does his own digital marketing and how I learn about it. #writing #digitalmarketing
